Meet Jean Comito Gurny, the creative mind behind the heartwarming and adventurous tale of Willow the Penguin. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Jean grew up in a loving family that instilled in her values of integrity, honesty, and love. As an Italian American, she takes great pride in her heritage. Jean’s journey into writing was put on hold while she focused on being a dedicated stay-at-home mom to her two children.

However, as they grew older, she found the opportunity to pursue her passion for writing. Despite facing the challenges of life, including the loss of her beloved husband, Jean discovered a new chapter in her life where she could dedicate more time to her writing. With the support of her family and her new life partner, Terry, Jean embarked on a new and exciting adventure as an author.
